we leave tonight or live and die this way

My self-summary
I’m a goofball, and I can’t stand people who take themselves too seriously. I like to surround myself with people who can keep me laughing, engaged in witty banter, or always on my toes. Naturally adventurous and outgoing. I’m a coffee fanatic, appreciate good beer, and have a serious soft spot for animals.
What I’m doing with my life
Graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, now spending the 9 to 5 grind in downtown DC working in broadcast media. I’m fortunate to have a career I love and time to indulge in my passions outside of it. Currently learning how to cook as naturally and cleanly as possible. I’ll admit I make the ugliest, though surprisingly tasty, omelettes. Also working my way up to driving at least 3 miles away from my house without getting lost, so far no luck.
I’m really good at
Harmonizing, taming my lion mane, telling it like it is and rolling with the punches, languages, and parallel parking.
The first things people usually notice about me
People love to remind me that I’m tiny. Or that I’m pretty easy to talk to and comfortable making conversation with just about anyone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: avett brothers, civil wars, angus & julia stone, joe purdy, band of horses, kid cudi, punch brothers, laura marling, bon iver, robyn, the weeknd, the civil wars, colin hay, fleet foxes…. Just not dubstep — transformer sex and dial up, no thanks.
I get irrationally excited when I hear the song “Africa” by Toto.

Movies/Shows: Snatch, Forrest Gump, Waitress, Seven, Love Actually. TV is usually background noise, but it’s usually 30 Rock, Anthony Bourdain, Man vs. Food, or some cheesy crime show. I watched the entire Game of Thrones series in a week.

Food: Not enough space for this. I’m seriously obsessed with pumpkin flavored things and spicy food. Don’t even get me started on wings. It’s recent, but I’ve become an adventurous eater; I love trying new foods and new places.
The six things I could never do without
Let’s make things interesting and say the things I COULD live without:
Rush hour traffic and its punk kid brother metro rush hour
Broccoli
Real housewives of anything
Coors light
Creatures with 6 legs or more (looking at you, mosquitoes)

Okay, I couldn’t live without:
Strong coffee
Peanut butter
College basketball
Law and Order: SVU
a GPS
My Nike free runs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my next step is to get closer on the path to becoming Beyoncé. And how to successfully pit an avocado without making a giant mess.
On a typical Friday night I am
It ranges from shouting over the clamor at happy hour or curled up with popcorn and the travel channel. And everything in between.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
